This is a benefited, full time position generally working from 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday. Located in Encinitas. Depending upon department needs, you may be floated to other Scripps OBGYN clinics (Oceanside - both Mission & Jefferson).

The ideal candidate is someone who is compassionate and driven to deliver exceptional patient care. You will be joining a team where you'll have an opportunity to support up to 17 providers in the department and experience a wide range of responsibilities. You will see a volume of up to 20 patients per day and get to be involved with a patient population where you will see recurring patients during their pregnancies. Key tasks in this role include rooming patients, assisting providers with setting up supplies for procedures, front office responsibilities such as check-ins and check-outs, and handling injections and non-stress testing. You'll also assist with care coordination by performing both inbound and outbound patient calls. Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
- Completion of a formal Medical Assistant Program, or Medical Assistance Certification, or a minimum of two years of experience as a military corpsman
Required Certification/Registration:
- BLS certification for the Healthcare Provider by the American Heart Association (AHA)
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
- One year of experience as an MA in an outpatient setting
- OBGYN clinic experience
