Responsibilities:
Administrative Tasks:
- Greet and assist patients as they arrive at the healthcare facility.
- Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar.
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries.
Patient Registration and Record Keeping:
- Collect and update patient information, including medical history and insurance details.
- Ensure accurate and complete patient records.
Billing and Coding:
- Assist with insurance billing and coding procedures.
- Process insurance claims and verify patient insurance information.
Front Office Duties:
- Manage the reception area, including checking in patients, verifying insurance, and collecting co-pays.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
Clinical Tasks:
- Escort patients to examination rooms and prepare them for the physician's examination.
- Measure and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
Assisting with Examinations and Procedures:
