• January and February: Monday - Thursday; 8-10 hr days
• March: Monday - Saturday; 8-10 hr days

About Us: CareOnSite, a division of Tang & Company, is a leading nationwide provider of occupational medical services. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Medical Assistant (MA) to join our team on a temporary basis.

Job Description: As a Medical Assistant (MA) at CareOnSite, you will play a pivotal role in delivering top-notch occupational medical services. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical, computer, and multi-tasking skills.

Responsibilities:

• Administer comprehensive physical exams, covering vision, hearing, vitals, respiratory fit testing, drug and alcohol testing, and other required tests.
• Conduct basic lab tests, prepare specimens, administer medication and injections, perform blood draws, splinting, and application of dressings.
• Ensure the daily inspection of exam rooms and stock, maintaining adequate supplies for patient care.
• Assist attending medical providers during examinations and procedures.
• Handle administrative duties, including scheduling patients, answering phones, and maintaining patient charts.
• Uphold compliance with all state and federal regulations related to professional certification, patient confidentiality (HIPAA), and safety guidelines.
• Execute COVID-related duties, such as temperature screens, questionnaires, vital signs, and testing.
• Fulfill other front and back-office duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Completion of a Medical Assistant (MA) course from an accredited/recognized school.
• Possession of a Medical Assistant (MA) certificate consistent with State Medical Board requirements.
• Current BCLS with AED certificates.
• Clinical experience is a plus.
