M Health Fairview has an immediate opening for a Medical Assistant to join our team at the M Health Fairview Maplewood Oncology Clinic located in Maplewood, MN. Join MHealth Fairview, the largest healthcare system in the state! The MHealth Fairview Maplewood Cancer Clinic is a growing and collaborative clinic. Our clinic hours are 8AM to 4:30PM Monday - Friday, so no evenings, weekends, or holidays! This provides an excellent work life balance!
This is a .0.01 FTE/Casual opening, meaning there are no guaranteed/scheduled hours per pay period and the position is not eligible for benefits.
Responsibilities/Job Description: As a member of the patient care team, a Medical Assistant supports quality patient- and family-centered care principles through performing a variety of high standard functions within a care team to support the needs of the healthcare team and patients/families. The Medical Assistant will collect information and detail the patient's visit. MA's are responsible for adhering to policies, procedures and practice guidelines; promoting communication with all members of the team, maintaining complete, timely and accurate clinical documentation for each patient and continually looking for opportunities to improve processes and workflow.

Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program or LPN
Basic Life Support Certification
Preferred Qualifications
Ambulatory Care Experience
AAMA Certification
