This position will be covering all roles in the practice. The person must be willing to change roles as needed. We need a person that is willing to work in all departments, with an eager attitude to learn new skills and with a good medical background.
· A Medical Assistant will be responsible for taking vitals, phlebotomy, EKG, administrating vaccines, collecting /labeling lab specimens, wound dressing/changes on post surgery patients, assist in recovery of surgery patients, performing SculpSure treatments, take pre and post operative photos, receive and reply to emails, stock rooms with medical supplies.
· Answer phones, schedule appointments, check-In or check-Out patients.
· Responsible for handling the front desk, patient intake, insurance verification, and data entry.
· Post patient payments, contact patients or insurance company regarding outstanding balances
· Light billing of services
Qualifications and Requirements
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Bilingual: Fluent in English and Spanish (Required)
· Phlebotomy license / certificate
· Medical office experience (internal medicine or plastic surgery preferred)

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
