WTI, an accredited institution and the leader in technical “hands-on” training, is seeking a highly motivated Medical Assistant Instructor. This position requires at least 3 YEARS experience with front office administrative and clinical skills, including phlebotomy and injections, in a medical setting as a health care professional (RMA, LPN, RN, EMT, etc.). Prior teaching experience preferred but not required.
Essential Functions
- Plan course instruction based upon approved syllabus provided
- Supervise independent or group projects, laboratory work or other training
- Advise students on academic and vocational concerns
- Maintain knowledge of relevant student certification testing to ensure class activities support testing needs in addition to needs in the workplace
- Observe and evaluate students' work to determine progress, providing feedback and making suggestions for improvement when necessary
Requirements
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills in the areas of collaboration, team participation, creative problem-solving, conflict resolution, group planning, and decision-making
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- No previous teaching experience required!

Schedule
To accommodate classes the schedule is a Split Shift.
Monday -Thursday 7:50am to 12:50pm and 5:30pm to 10:30pm.
No Fridays and a 3-Day Weekend
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
- Associates Degree (Preferred)
- Registered Medical Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant Certification
Experience:
- Medical assistance: 3 years (Required)
- Registered or Certified MA (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
