We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Senior Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our medical facility.
```Duties```
- Perform vital signs assessments, including blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, and respiratory rate
- Provide excellent patient service by greeting patients, answering questions, and addressing concerns
- Assist with X-ray procedures and ensure proper positioning and patient comfort
- Utilize your in-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology to accurately assess patient conditions
- Provide basic life support in emergency situations until medical professionals arrive
- Provide medical administrative support by scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and handling insurance documentation
- Deliver compassionate patient care by assisting with procedures, wound care, and medication administration
- Administer inhalation treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
```Qualifications```
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred
- Certification as a Medical Assistant strongly preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting
- Proficient in performing vital signs assessments and other clinical procedures
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Basic life support certification required
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
