HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Medical Assistant - Gastroenterology to fill an opening with a primary care provider in Naples, FL 
Daily Responsibilities for Medical Assistant - Gastroenterology: 

• In your role as a Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a direct role in providing care to our patients.
• Your responsibility will include ensuring a positive Patient Experience for everyone entering the office.
• You will support the examination and treatment of patients under the guidance of the Physician, ARNP, or PA. This involves gathering vitals and medical histories, conducting EKGs, administering injections, inputting data into electronic health records, and performing any other necessary tasks to deliver optimal patient care.

Required Qualifications for Medical Assistant - Gastroenterology: 

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 6+ months of experience as a Medical Assistant (not including externships)
• Experience working in a gastroenterology / GI medical practice
• Experience obtaining vitals, administering injections, performing Phlebotomy and EKGs
• BLS/CPR certified
• Must have experience working with an EMR
