Summary

SDFC is seeking a full-time Front Office Medical Assistant. As the Front Office Medical Assistant you will support the front office and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient case management, organization, and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management to patients.
• Update and file medical records and insurance reports.
• Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms and scan into medical record.

Requirements

• Medical Assistant certification preferred but not required.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
• Social perceptiveness and service oriented.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software.

This role pays up to $30 an hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
