Within a patient centered culture, the Medical Assistant Extern will develop the skills to assist provider and nursing staff to deliver optimal patient care, and work with others to achieve efficient clinical and business operations. The Medical Assistant Extern will gain hands on experience to performs both clinical and administrative tasks of a Medical Assistant.
Education
Must be enrolled in a Medical Assistant program and be on track to complete curriculum during the ensuing school year. Incumbent must be in academic good standing.

Certifications/ Licensures
Basic Life support (BLS) certification within competition of Medical Assistant Program.
Physical Requirements
Heavy Work- 100 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 50 lbs. of force frequently and/or more than 20 lbs. of force constantly
