Busy Cardiac and Vascular practice is looking to hire an experienced and talented individual to assist the team as a Certified Medical Assistant. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- obtaining vitals- manual blood pressure is a requirement
- extensively reviewing past medical history
- obtaining and confirming accurate medications list
- refilling prescriptions
- performing EKGs- experience required
- manual blood pressure readings
- phoning patients with test results
- updating patient chart in EMR
- other duties befitting a Medical Assistant.
Excellent EMR and computer skills a must. The ideal candidate is an individual that is professional, organized, outgoing, enjoys working with patients, and a self-starter.
Must be able to obtain accurate, manual BPs and be very adept at EKGs.

Clinic hours are 8 to 5 Monday to Thursday and Friday 8 to 1. Availability for arrival 730/745 is required as well as the ability to remain at the clinic until listed closing time.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
