Midwest Urgent Care is looking for a Medical Assistant to help support our company's commitment to providing the highest quality care for our patients. The ideal candidate will have an interest in helping people in need and a dedication to serving others. We're looking for assistance with administrative tasks and patient care, and the ability to effectively manage paperwork and schedule appointments is essential.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program or LPN
- Excellent customer service, public relations and communication skills
- Ability to work as an effective team member to provide exceptional care
Responsibilities:
- Administrative duties such as scheduling patients, answering phones, maintaining patient charts.
- Performs basic lab tests and prepares specimens, administers medication and injections, performs blood draws, application of dressing.
- Assists medical provider during examinations and procedures. Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations pertaining to professional certification, patient confidentiality pursuant to HIPAA, treatment and safety guidelines
- Perform musculoskeletal X-rays. (We will train)
- Comply with state and federal regulations pertaining to HIPPA, treatment, and professional certifications.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
