Job Description
Make a difference in the life of a patient, every day! Medical Assistants are an integral part of our Patient Centered health care team. These caring individuals create the first impression of the medical care MCHC provides and begin each visit by welcoming the patient and gathering information essential to the continued care and healing of that individual.
Medical Assistants at MCHC begin each day by scrubbing the charts and facilitating a huddle with the Care Team in order to ensure preparedness for each patient visit. Utilization of the electronic health record (EHR) is an essential part of the job and, therefore, previous experience with an EHR is a plus! Accurately reading and inputting of patient information enables the team to provide quality care and aids in healing. A detail-oriented mind paired with a caring heart is the perfect combination for an MA at MCHC.
