Multi-Specialty Ambulatory Surgery Center looking for Medical Assistant to help at their Ambulatory Surgery Center. This is a part-time position with 20-29 hours per week/
Ideal candidate for this position is friendly, outgoing, organized, hardworking, dependable. Some of the responsibilities include medical expertise and clinical assessment skills to ensure all patients meet criteria for surgery, assist with admitting, OR turnovers, and during recovery phases in PACU, perform patient calls and answering phones as needed, chart assessments, and collaboration with clinic MAs to ensure preoperative testing is complete.
The MA will work under the direction of the Nurse Manager and Administrative Director and must be able to multi-task and move from one very different assignment to another many times in a day.
Education/Experience Required and/or Preferred:
- Medical Assistant Certification in WA state (required)
- Current Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
- One-year experience in a healthcare environment (preferred)
