```Duties```
- Assist healthcare providers in delivering patient care by performing various clinical and administrative tasks
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, including taking vital signs, documenting medical history, and verifying patient information
- Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers
- Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing
- Assist with patient education and provide information on medications, procedures, and follow-up care
- Schedule appointments, coordinate referrals, and manage patient records
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
```Qualifications```
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant training program preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and basic life support procedures
- Experience working in a hospital or medical office setting is a plus
- Proficiency in medical coding and billing is desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide patient service with compassion and empathy
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record keeping
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is preferred
