Medical Assistant

Job Description:

As a Medical Assistant at Doctor Near Me, you will be the right-hand support to our solo physician, assisting in both clinical and administrative tasks. Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist patients with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
• Conduct patient intake, including documenting medical history and taking vital signs.
• Prepare examination rooms for patient visits and assist in various medical procedures.
• Maintain accurate and confidential electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Manage administrative duties, including appointment scheduling, record-keeping, and billing.
• Uphold a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control standards.
• Collaborate effectively with the doctor to ensure seamless patient care.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a Medical Assistant program is advantageous.
• Prior experience as Medical Assistant is preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and ethical standards.
• Proficiency with eClinical Works electronic medical record is preferred
• Proficiency in taking accurate vital signs and documenting patient information

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
