We are seeking a Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! We are an energetic, fast pace multispecialty ambulatory surgical center. You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
- Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
- Communicate with insurance companies for proper verification procedures
- Escort patients to exam rooms
- Provide exceptional customer services to all patients
- Document preparation for consultations
- Manage all incoming and outgoing patient referrals
- General phone coverage
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in healthcare administration or other related fields
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional customer service skills
