Medical Assistant

We are seeking a proactive, resourceful and collaborative individual to bring valuable experience as a Medical Assistant to our team at the Midwest Dermatology Institute (MDI). As a Medical Assistant at MDI, you will play a vital role in providing our patients with the highest quality of care and help ensure the office runs efficiently. You will work closely with our physicians and nurses to perform clinical and administrative tasks, including:

• Taking patient medical histories and vital signs
• Preparing and cleaning examination rooms
• Assisting with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments
• Administering injections and medications
• Collecting and processing laboratory specimens
• Maintaining patient records and insurance information
• Scheduling appointments and answering patient questions

We are looking for a candidate who is:

• Experienced as a Medical Assistant in a fast-paced environment
• Tech-savvy and familiar with electronic health records (preferred)
• Compassionate and patient-centered
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
