Medical Assistant

Foot and Ankle Specialty Office - Looking to add an additional Medical Assistant to join our team. We anticipate the position to begin with the candidate working 4 days/week (Monday through Thursday) with the possibility of Friday AM as our practice continues to grow. This is a position with high growth potential for the correct, hard working, reliable self motivated, and dedicated individual who has an upbeat caring personality who is looking for a long term position. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the health care industry, scribe experience and prior experience in a similar position. Must be able to work on a team, possess strong communication, customer service skills and multi task efficiently.

Responsibilities include but is not limited to:

• Patient charting via Practice Fusion EHR and EPIC EHR
• Patient rooming
• Taking/recording vitals
• Wound Care
• Surgical dressing changes
• Casting/splinting
• Assist a physician with minor procedures, and giving injections if necessary
• Take X-rays
• Office and clerical tasks
• Obtaining authorizations
