Medical Assistant

Neurosurgery practice is looking for a full-time Medical Assistant who is detailed oriented and reliable that can travel to all three locations.

• Room patient, obtain vitals, obtain patient histories, review medication list.

• Assist physician during exams

• Prepare medical records prior to appointments and ensure all pertinent information, such as lab results and reports, are in the file prior to the physician’s visit

• Manage physician schedule to make more productive

• Perform a range of basic office support, not limited to answering phones and triage patient’s phone calls, routine clerical data entry, and scanning documents

• Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments

• Prior authorizations for office visits, procedures, and testing

• travel to all three locations
