Job Description:
- Proficiently complete patient rooming process, which includes vitalizing, drawing blood, reviewing medications, and obtaining recent medical history.
- Documenting all work within patient charts.
- Proficient use of OncoEMR and Labdaq.
- Monitor medication refills/prescription line/Medical Assistant inbox and appropriately fill medications.
- Effectively communicate patient issues with provider, social worker, and supervisors.
- Answer patient questions and/or return patient calls in a timely manner.
- Review, prep, and monitor providers schedules.
- Put away supplies/stock rooms.
- Monitor EMR inbox (both individual and Medical Assistant), email, and teams, responding to all appropriately and accordingly.
- Attend department meetings and in-service training as required.
- Assist with tasks to help front end staff as needed.
- Cover the front desk as needed.
- Maintain HIPAA policies and proceduress
- Other duties as assigned.
