SalaryA Medical Assistant performs administrative and clinical duties. We are looking for someone who has plenty of experience as a Medical Assistant and is looking for long time employment.
Medical Assistant
- Greeting patients professionally both in person and on the phone
- Taking and recording vital signs and medical histories
- Preparing patients for examinations and procedures
- Preparing schedules and charts for procedures
- Putting in orders and medication requests
- Requesting records for your provider
- Data entry on all patients
- Helping the physicians when needed
- Possibly drawing blood and administering medications as directed by the physician
Other tasks:
- Multitasking
- Work collaboratively with all team members in achieving shared goals with a consistent focus on patient care
- Other office tasks as needed
