JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
Work Shift: 8:30am-5pm
JOB SUMMARY:
Performs a wide variety of clerical duties in support of the Cancer Center Integrative Oncology, Support Services, St. Tammany Cancer Center Gift Shop, Cancer Center Volunteer Coordination, and Navigation Team. Complies with organization's C.A.R.E.S. standards.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Medical Assistant license required. High School Diploma required with proficiency in written and verbal communication skills. Experience with word-processing, filing, transcribing, typing and general office equipment. A minimum of one-year previous secretarial experience required. Knowledge of Medical Terminology preferred. Strong computer and organizational skills are required. Possess excellent customer service skills. Must be able to multi-task and work well with others in a very busy environment. Must always maintain a professional demeanor.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must possess good physical health. Some requirements include but are not limited to standing, sitting or walking for long periods of time. Lifting at least 50 pounds is required.
