SalaryPrimary Care office is seeking qualified candidates to serve our patients. Our practice has been around for over 30 years and consists of 5 providers with an additional one joining this summer.
As a Medical Assistant in our practice you will be responsible for the following duties:
Duties
- Provide patient service and care in an office environment
- Administer medications per provider orders and clinic guidelines
- Perform EKG's
- Take and record vital signs accurately in EMR
- Assist with patient examinations and procedures
- Perform testing such as Rapid Flu, Rapid Covid, and Strep
-Phlebotomy
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with medical regulations and protocols
-Scheduling of appointments
-Notification to the patients of lab and imaging results
-E-Prescribing medications per provider orders and clinical guidelines
-Responding to patient calls, emails and portal notifications in a timely manner
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant
- Proficiency in medical terminology and basic physiology knowledge
- Experience working in a clinical setting
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording patient information
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including Saturdays
