Responsibilities:
- Provide medical administrative support by scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling insurance billing and coding.
- Perform vital signs measurements, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist healthcare professionals with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers.
- Prepare patients for examinations and explain procedures to them.
- Provide patient education on medication use, diet, and lifestyle modifications.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
- Assist with basic life support measures in emergency situations.
Experience:
- Previous experience working as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology is required.
- Familiarity with medical coding and insurance billing practices is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in medication administration techniques is necessary.
- Excellent patient service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
