Medical Assistant

Must have at least 1 year of experience

Must be fluent in SPANSIH

• Duties include but not limited to:
• Take vitals and room adult patients.
• Give injections and draw blood.
• Answer incoming triage calls from patients, hospitals and other physicians.
• Provide communication and service to answer questions, gather information and solve problems.
• Perform other services such as EKG's, Ear Washes, PFT's, draw blood, immunizations and give shots.
• Report and record patient lab results, fill prescriptions and medication prior authorizations.
• Update the patient record with actions taken and follow up measures if required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS

Monday-Friday from 8:00 - 5:00

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Certified

1 years experience in Medical Assisting

Must be bilingual

High school diploma or GED is required

Electronic Medical Records experience required, preferably eClinical Works

Customer service oriented

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Extremely detail orientated, organized and a self starter

Punctual and dependable

Knowledge of HIPPA and OSHA guidelines/regulations

Pre-employment drug screen and clean criminal background check required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
