SalaryA fast-paced podiatry office has an immediate opening for a Medical Assistant (40 hrs/week) Podiatry experience is not required but preferred.
- We are a podiatry office but we see anywhere to 50-60 patients a day. We are fast-paced and highly efficient. Applicants must be able to stand for long periods.
- Applicant must have their own transportation ( own a vehicle) and a driver's license.
The position does not require experience as a Medical Assistant, On the job training is available.
* Mandatory travel once weekly to Ocala office on Wednesday afternoons. Non- Negotiable.
*Mandatory SAM conference in Orlando, FL in January of 2025. Conference is a series of lectures on podiatry x-ray . This is a weekend work-required conference.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, patient initial encounters, documentation through EMR, return patient phone calls, physician support, as well as enjoy working with patients and demonstrating strong customer service skills. Computer skills preferred.

Hours include 8:00 a.m - 5-6 p.m Monday - Thursday
8:00 a.m - 2 p.m Friday
- Hourly pay is based on experience and qualifications such as certification. Negotiable.
