Seeking a full-time, qualified medical receptionist to work at a small but busy family practice clinic in Trenton. Must be willing to work as a team, able to multitask, have excellent communication skills. Experience required. Competitive benefits offered.
Responsibilities:
- Perform basic clerical duties including answering phones, filing, maintaining records, maintaining a clean and orderly work environment
- Assist with treatments/procedures ordered by physician, including but not limited to administration of medications, routine X-Rays, EKGs, collection and processing of lab specimens
- Interview patients, record medical history and physical, measure vital signs, properly document information in medical chart, prepare patient rooms as needed
- Instruct patients regarding preparation for tests and signing consent forms
- Comply with CLIA, OSHA, and other regulatory agency standards. Follow infection control and safety procedures.
- Participate in in-service trainings as needed'
