Responsibilities:

- Greet and prepare patients for examinations or procedures
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, treatments, and minor surgical procedures
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse rate, and respiration rate
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Conduct basic laboratory tests, such as collecting specimens and performing venipuncture
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure cleanliness and organization
- Provide patient education on various medical conditions, treatments, and medications
Skills:
- Strong patient service skills with the ability to provide compassionate care to patients of all ages
- Excellent knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Proficient in performing basic patient care procedures such as wound dressing changes and medication administration
- Familiarity with taking and interpreting vital signs accurately
- Ability to work effectively in a medical environment, multitask, and prioritize tasks accordingly
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, healthcare providers, and other staff members
