Job Description:
- As a Medical Assistant for home visits and telehealth, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality healthcare services to our patients.
- You will work closely with our team of practitioners to provide comprehensive medical care, including assisting with physical examinations, administering medications, and performing basic medical procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct home visits to patients for medical assessments, treatments, and follow-up care.
- Assist practitioners during telehealth appointments by facilitating communication between patients and providers and ensuring proper documentation of patient encounters.
- Perform basic clinical tasks such as obtaining vital signs, collecting specimens, and administering medications as directed by the practitioner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, both electronically and in paper format.
- Coordinate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and continuity of services.
- Adhere to all regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred.
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential preferred.
- Previous experience working in a medical office or clinical setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good driving record and ability to commute with company-provided vehicle.
