Job Description
One of the largest revenue cycle management companies in the nation is looking for Experienced Medical Insurance Follow Up Representatives! Apply if qualified and interested!
- Contract to hire opportunity (6 months)
- Hybrid Opportunity (2 days in office; 3 days remote)
Day to day:
- Monitor and track claim statuses, identifying and resolving claim rejections or denials promptly.
- Conduct regular follow-up with insurance companies to check on claim statuses and resolve outstanding issues.
- Review and appeal denied claims as necessary, adhering to deadlines and requirements.
- Maintain updated knowledge of insurance regulations, billing guidelines, and coding updates.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address billing discrepancies and ensure compliance with payer requirements.
- Generate and analyze reports related to billing and collections, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
KPI: 45+ Accounts Daily
3-5 Must Have Skills/Qualifications- 2+ Years of Direct Acute Hospital Billing & Collections
- High level of account notation
- Expert Understanding of Insurance Payers (Commercial or Government)
- Proven Track Record of Hitting 45+ Unique Account Touches Daily in an Insurance Follow Up Role
- Excel proficiency
- EPIC experience is ideal
- Process improvement mindset

- Schedule: Any representative has the opportunity to start work on the half hour between 7:00AM - 8:30AM CST. 10A break, 2P break. 30 minute lunch 11A , 1130, 12P, 1230P.
