The Medical Aesthetician's Role
Working under the direction of board-certified physicians with a large existing clientele, the Medical Aesthetician provides high-quality, professional, medical-grade skin care, laser treatments, and body contouring services. The primary responsibility of this position is to build and maintain strong relationships with patients by delivering exceptional customer service in a friendly and welcoming environment. The Medical Aesthetician must be well-versed in treatments and products available, and able to coordinate treatment plans while providing continuous follow-up to ensure patient satisfaction. Educating patients on available treatments and products is also an important aspect of this position.
- Perform consistent professional facial, body, and laser treatments following company protocols
- Perform consultations, asses skin problems or conditions, and suggest appropriate treatment
- Possess complete knowledge of all services and products while educating patients
- Promotes and up-sell products and services
- Properly and effectively educate patients on the course of treatments, expected outcomes, side effects, and post-care
- Maintain communication with patients via phone and email, ongoing maintenance of client database, and keeping customer files accurate and up to date
- Perform prep work and properly clean and restock the room as required
- Properly care for equipment and use proper amounts of back bar supplies to be cost-effective
- Properly maintain inventory of retail and back bar products
- Maintain MedSpa appearance and cleanliness; uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and company policies and procedures
Just the Facts
- This is a full-time position.
- We’re looking for someone who can work Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. We do schedule 5 days per week.
Qualifications:
- All local and state licensing certification that applies to all regulations in the state of Arizona for Aestheticians
- Laser certification with at least 1 year of experience performing treatments
- Preferred knowledge of all aesthetic equipment and services provided in our practice
- IPL Fotofacial, Skin Resurfacing, LHR, Laser Vein, Skin Tightening/ Cellulite treatments, CoolSculpting
- Knowledge of all chemicals used, reactions, and complications
- Understanding of a physician’s role within the aesthetics clinic
