The RehabGYM is a small, locally owned, physical therapy clinic and community gym. Our mission is to inspire and empower active and healthy lifestyles. Our staff consists of licensed physical therapists and certified personal trainers who work collaboratively to provide a safe, welcoming rehabilitation and fitness space, especially to those who may not otherwise be comfortable in a gym environment. We offer as much assistance as is needed for our patients/clients to find their entry point to physical activity and begin the journey toward rehabilitation, function, and the lifestyle or goals they desire.
- Greeting and checking in, clients and patients, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
- Schedule appointments and maintain two computerized scheduling systems (for the clinic and the gym)
- Operating a multi-line phone system and fax machine, take messages, and provide accurate information to patients, clients, and staff
- Medical records management including filing, scanning, and organizing documents
- Collect and process patient and client payments including copays deductibles and out of pocket services
- Maintaining an accurate cash drawer and reconciling customer accounts when taking payments
- Educating customers on our services and making sales
- Effective communication with customers, co-workers, healthcare facilities, and insurance companies
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA
- Maintaining inventory counts for office and clinic supplies

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a medical office, a basic knowledge of medical and health insurance terminology, the ability to operate independently and professionally, excellent communication and customer service skills, and will take a proactive approach in creating and promoting efficiency in all aspects of this position. That said, we are very open to training the right person.

Pay: $16.50 - $20.00 per hour
