Full-time Media & e-Commerce Director Position - Work from home flexibility

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Media & e-Commerce Director to lead our paid media and e-commerce teams. The ideal candidate will oversee the team in media planning, buying, and reporting, including traditional, digital, social, and retail media. Additionally, the candidate will manage our e-commerce team to ensure the success of client stores and online platforms. Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer, the Media & e-Commerce Director will play a crucial role in driving client development and maximizing potential across all channels.

This role oversees the team in media planning, buying, and reporting, including traditional, digital, social, and retail media. Additionally, the candidate will manage our e-commerce team to ensure the success of client stores and online platforms. Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer, the Media & e-Commerce Director will play a crucial role in driving client development and maximizing potential across all channels.

Responsibilities for this role:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive, data-driven paid media strategies across various channels. Collaborate with retail media and paid search teams for holistic client recommendations.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and trends. Monitor and advise on new opportunities in traditional, digital, paid social, retail media, and e-commerce.
  • Present reports in client meetings and recommend actionable changes for performance improvement.
  • Oversee the e-commerce team, ensuring alignment with agency and client objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance online shopping experiences.
  • Lead strategies to increase website traffic, conversion rates, and average order value.
  • Recruit and lead a high-performance team of paid media and e-commerce professionals.
  • Provide guidance on industry best practices, emerging trends, and new technologies.
  • Manage department salaries and foster a positive work environment.

Qualifications for this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
  • Proven experience in successful paid media and e-commerce strategy development.
  • 5-7 years experience in managing a successful team.
  • In-depth knowledge of digital marketing channels, platforms, and tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience in managing and optimizing e-commerce platforms.
  • Budget management and financial analysis experience.
  • Familiarity with the latest trends and innovations in media and e-commerce.
