Mechatronics Product Development Engineer - New Product Development

Kickr Design is the fastest growing Product Development company in the Southeast. We are looking for the best engineering talent available to develop the latest technology, concepts, prototypes, and products from around the world. At our location in Atlanta, GA we design, engineer, prototype, and manufacture devices for a wide array of industries ranging from consumer products to medical devices. We serve all our clients from individual entrepreneurs to Fortune 500 companies with the same efficiency and agility we have been providing since our own startup days in 2015.

As a part of the core Kickr engineering team, Mechatronics Engineers design, prototype, and test mechanical and electrical components and systems starting at conceptual models through fully manufactured parts.

This position is contract to hire. Typically there is a 180 day contractor period with the goal of moving to full time afterwards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years Mechanical Engineering experience and/or Electrical Engineering Experience
• Electrical and Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of acceptable practices and techniques
• knowledge and experience with electrical product design including PCB design, analog electronics, and digital electronics

Kickr Design is looking for Mechatronics Engineers who can deliver on the following:

• Conceptualization & CAD of products, assemblies, and components
• PCB design and layout
• Part prototyping via CNC, laser cutting, 3D printing, breadboarding, and other methods,
• Document and communicate progress with team and customers, maintain project schedules and timelines
• Develop positive working relationships with vendors and clients

Nice to have

• firmware experience is a plus
• Altium experience
• Solidworks experience
