Job Description:
- The Electro-Mechanical Technician (NTC) is responsible for loading test stands and setting up testing for very small and intricate parts.
- The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge in reading, interpreting, and following technical work instructions and blueprints.
- This first shift position is well suited for a patient individual who is a fast learner, is focused on quality output, and enjoys working in a demanding atmosphere.
- Set up, start and then break down test ovens which contain small electro-mechanical parts.
- Interpret customer and supplier requirements (via blueprints and work instructions).
- Recommend design and process improvements to enhance manufacturability.
- Perform visual inspection of parts.
- Maintain quality records.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment required.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
- This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
- Ability to interpret/follow written work instructions, visual aids, sketches and blueprints.
- Basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent related experience required.
