Mechanical Integrity Document Controller

What You'll Be Doing
Job Scope:Mechanical Integrity Document Control support. Main objective is working day to day with Mechanical Integrity & Maintenance & Reliability teams and verifying and obtaining documentation.
Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Document management of electronic files for distribution including scanning, converting between different software packages, printing, and copying.
• Researching files and records to locate appropriate documents as requested.
• Responding to client requests of all types.
• Tracking the flow of documents via Sharepoint, Meridian & Oracle databases.
• Generating activity reports as required.
• Assisting MI Team with administrative tasks as necessary.

Ideal Background
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Advanced coursework is preferred.
Experience: This position requires up to 5 years of relevant industrial experience in document control and administration.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Familiarity with P&ID's, equipment drawings is preferred.
• Knowledge of engineering document control standards.
• Knowledge and understanding of construction plans and diagrams.
• Knowledge of large-scale scanner and plotter operation.
• Ability to organize effectively.
• Extreme attention to detail.
• Excellent listening and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Web Collaboration Tools and Adobe Acrobat.
• Sharepoint, Meridian & Oracle experience preferred.
• Exceptional customer service skills and ability to comply with client procedures

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time.
