Job Description
The Engineering Co-op position supports the ACS (Air-Conditioning Service) products and the ADAS (Advance Driver Avoidance Systems) products, which includes:
- Cross-Functional Collaboration with Global Engineering team.
- Collection of data from different regions on products and its features.
- Work in SAP ERP system
- Create and maintain mechanical CAD models in Solid Works / PDM.
- Discussion with designers and developers on component designs
- Create and maintain mechanical CAD models and drawings for products and components.
- Modify and update system level design documentation as assigned by the Mechanical Engineer
- Maintain project documentation, i.e. design reviews, design specifications, wiring diagrams, detailed prints.
- Initiate the creation of parts within our Bosch ERP (SAP)
- Initiate and coordinate the ECR (Engineering Change Request) process as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Cumulative GPA 3.0 or Higher
- Working towards completion of a Bachelor degree (Engineering Major Preferred)
- Strong Microsoft Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint skills (V-Lookups, Pivot Tables and Graphs etc.)
- Knowledge with working in SolidWorks (preferred) or other CAD design/modeling system
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, multi-tasking and highly organized
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to perform tasks autonomously and complete work in a timely manner
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without Visa Sponsorship (F1 and J1 visa holders are not eligible for this role)
- Must be available to work 30-40 hours per week during regular business hours (Monday - Friday) for 6 months
