Responsibilities and Expectations: 

Integrated Power Services is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical design standards, including stator core and windings, rotor poles and mechanical components. Responsibilities may include:

• Supporting Field Engineers with failure analysis and troubleshooting quality issues at customer sites
• Provide leadership to a team of design engineers
• Support Field Engineers with failure analysis and troubleshooting quality issues at customer sites.
• Conduct design reviews as appropriate for risk mitigation
• Develop design standards and practices
• Work closely with other engineers and team members to ensure system integration and performance
• Travel as needed to support our customers and field engineers in the field

Qualifications and Competencies: 

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design standards
• Demonstrated ability to simplify and improve design and site installation procedures
• Demonstrated ability to handle a diverse workload with minimum supervision
• Ability to analyze technical specifications, proposal documents, and develop detailed design/service offerings
• Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and inherent decision-making ability
• Excellent computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
