Responsibilities and Expectations:
Integrated Power Services is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical design standards, including stator core and windings, rotor poles and mechanical components. Responsibilities may include:
- Supporting Field Engineers with failure analysis and troubleshooting quality issues at customer sites
- Provide leadership to a team of design engineers
- Support Field Engineers with failure analysis and troubleshooting quality issues at customer sites.
- Conduct design reviews as appropriate for risk mitigation
- Develop design standards and practices
- Work closely with other engineers and team members to ensure system integration and performance
- Travel as needed to support our customers and field engineers in the field
Qualifications and Competencies:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design standards
- Demonstrated ability to simplify and improve design and site installation procedures
- Demonstrated ability to handle a diverse workload with minimum supervision
- Ability to analyze technical specifications, proposal documents, and develop detailed design/service offerings
- Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and inherent decision-making ability
- Excellent computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
