We are looking to hire a Mechanical Engineer and interviews are currently underway. The Mechanical Engineer will design and test all aspects of mechanical equipment and machinery related to EEC, MV/LV MCC & switchgears.
Requirements:- Create detail drawings for Electrical Equipment Centers (EEC or PDC), Medium Voltage and Low Voltage switchgear, Motor control centers, Utility panels. Utilize mechanical 3d design software (Solidworks, AutoCAD) to accomplish the tasks.
- Works with a design team to create process flow diagrams, equipment layouts, and fabrication drawings.
- Works with vendors to procure or contract required parts and work.
- Proactively document and communicate project plans, costs, and tasks for team members and supervisors.
- Uses computer-assisted design (CAD) software to create preliminary and detailed drawings of products and structural analysis.
- Produces specifications for products and chooses raw materials and components to be used in production.
- Provides engineering technical support to the production team during the build and commissioning of your machines.
- Constant customer and vendor interaction and user manual creation.
- Must be capable of taking direction and following through with assigned tasks.
Required Skills/Abilities

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
- 5 years of related experience preferred within the Oil & Gas manufacturing industry.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
- Must be able to access and inspect all areas of machinery.
