The Position

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer I, Rotating Equipment to join our team. This role will report to our Director of Engineering. This position will support machinery equipment selection, estimating, and design work related to Rotating Equipment. This role is based in Brooklyn, NY.

What you get to do

  • Support the design & development of equipment & existing systems by working with process design engineers
  • Prepare engineering specifications, data sheets, and inspection and testing plans for required equipment
  • Participate in HAZOP and PHA's
  • Participate in PFDs & P&IDs
  • Perform engineering calculations to support design work
  • Closely work with the Engineering department to provide mechanical and equipment support for all process designs within AIR COMPANY

What you bring to AIR COMPANY

  • BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering
  • Preferred 1 year working experience on centrifugal/ reciprocating/screw compressors, blowers, steam/gas turbines, pumps, silencers, cooling towers, air- or water-cooled within Industrial Gases, Oil & Gas, or PetroChemical Industry
  • Experience in working with EPC companies and different type of vendors
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with constant change
  • Team player, extremely organized, attention to detail, and strong ability to multitask across various workflows

Salary Range:$75,000 - $85,000

The approximate annual base compensation range and benefits listed above may vary based on the applicant's experience, skills, abilities, and relevant industry expertise.
