Volt is immediately hiring Mechanical Engineer for a local leading organization in Duluth, GA
What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…
- Assist with pilot proposals and protocol development.
- Develop a detailed pilot execution plan and work with various departments within Ad Edge to execute the pilot project from procurement to delivery.
- Assist or lead FAT testing of all pilot equipment prior to delivery.
- Coordinate necessary pilot logistics with the customer prior to field testing.
- Lead or assist in performing pilots in the field.
- Develop job specific safety plans so projects can be executed safely and in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Perform process, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting of full-scale and pilot plants.
- Other tasks may include assisting Application Engineers, Project Managers and other staff in various technical tasks related to proposal development and project execution. Some of these tasks are outlined below:
- Writing and compiling design submittals and other relevant documentation related to projects.
- Prepare bill of materials, writing process descriptions, & coordinate with purchasing of components
- Performing equipment research as needed to meet project needs.
- Assist in preparation and review of process P&IDs.
Your Education Should Be…
B.S. degree in Engineering (Environmental, Chemical, Civil, or Mechanical preferred)

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Your Professional Experience Should Be…
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant engineering experience with emphasis in implementation of water treatment systems and technology
- Strong learning aptitude with desire for growth opportunity
- Practical experience in water treatment system design and operation
- Strong personal communication skills for interfacing with customers
Preferred Education and Experience
- Professional or E.I.T certifications
- Field testing and piloting experience
- Advance AutoCAD experience with process design drawings
- Advanced studies or Master’s in relevant field is not required, but a plus.
- Academic or hands on experience with ion exchange, filtration, reverse osmosis, adsorption, and chemical feed systems is highly desirable.
- International project experience
- Bilingual skills
