Mechanical Engineer

Job Description:

Responsibilities

Provide mechanical (HVAC) design services on a variety of commercial building projects. Position will report directly to the project manager and senior Mechanical Engineer. Specific position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• HVAC and Piping design on various types of projects
• Assist in the production of mechanical construction drawings for new buildings, renovations and additions to existing facilities
• Provide coordination of project designs with other disciplines
• HVAC load calculations
• Review of equipment and product submittals
• Project discovery through site visits on renovation projects to document and gather pictures of mechanical equipment and ductwork layouts.

Qualified candidates will have:

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
• EIT or PE License. PE License is preferred.
• Working knowledge of building codes
• Experience with performing load calculations and duct sizing
• Successful verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to utilize Microsoft Office products
• Revit experience
• Ability to meet fast-paced deadlines while maintaining quality design
• 3-5+ years of experience in MEP design using Revit/ AutoCAD

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
