What you will do:
Prepare and control schedules for the Odessa K3 Project, as well as make the advance control and track of activities based on information and work advance done and to be done by contractor and provided by project engineers. Supervise the mechanical equipment installation on designated areas, always following the tolerances in the instruction's manuals and coordinate activities according to the plan.
Main Responsibilities:
- Daily filed supervision of Mechanical construction activities with respect to time (short, mid, and long term), quality, quantity, and cost. Checking of equipment, material, and services suppliers for all Mechanical aspects.
- Manage and assume responsibility for Mechanical construction activities accordingly with the technical documentation at the project site executed by the construction contractors.
- Apply and follow safety rules.
- Report monthly Mechanical progress.
- Engineering drawing interpretation
- Good communication with contractors.
- Making Decisions and Solving Problems.
- Lead meetings.
- Record keeping and reporting requirements.
- Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution.
- Monitor construction processes.
- Organizing, Planning, and Prioritizing Work.
- Scheduling Work and Activities.
- Budgeting control.
- Documenting/Recording Information.
- Study project specifications to determine appropriate installation methods.
Experience and abilities you will need:
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years industrial construction.
- Cement industry knowledge in Mechanical Engineering is highly desired.
