Position Information:

• Location: Hodges, SC
• Domestic relocation is available for this position.

Role Definition:

Provides technical expertise necessary to design all aspects of production, costs, quality, compliance to safety guidelines, and environmental requirements for manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluates manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs.
• Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, researching testing methods, and conferring with equipment vendors.
• Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
• Assures product and process quality by designing testing methods.
• Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs.
• Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Provides manufacturing engineering information by answering questions and requests.
• Maintains product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.
• Maintains product and process database by writing computer programs and entering data.
• Completes design and development projects by training and guiding operations.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops.

• Structures & Light Fabrication
• Bridge and Jib Cranes
• Cooling and Heating, Conveyance, Hydraulic, & Pneumatic Systems
• Mixers, Piping
• Drive Shafts, Bearings and Gear Boxes
• Pressure Vessel, Ductwork
• Motor Mounts
• Dust Collection and other Machining Equipment
• Integrated Robotic & PLC Systems

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Computer-Aided Design & Engineering: Extensive experience using tools and techniques of specialized graphics programs; ability to produce, analyze, simulate, and test product design drafts.
• Effective Communications: Working knowledge of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
• Product Design and Development: Working knowledge of product features; ability to design, build, and develop a new product, technology, or service from concept through to production.
• Product Design - MFG: Extensive experience using processes, approaches, tools, and techniques of product design; ability to convert customer and market requirements into product design.
