EAPC is are seeking a talented and motivated Mechanical Engineering BIM Modelerto join our team! This position may work out of our Fargo, Sioux Falls, St. Paul, or Phoenix office.

As a Mechanical Engineering BIM Modeler, you will play a key role in our engineering team! You will work on a range of exciting projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to create efficient and sustainable mechanical systems.

As a Mechanical BIM Modeler at EAPC, you will:

  • Assist the Project Manager or Principal on projects from concept to successful completion
  • Utilize and manage computer-aided design software such as REVIT and AutoCAD
  • May use TRACE for building calculations
  • May assist in equipment selection and scheduling
  • Work day-to-day with other engineering disciplines, internal and external, of the organization
  • May perform construction management, as necessary, for projects during the construction phase
  • Must be able to accommodate and meet customer demands within deadlines
  • Verify and interpret applicable codes and regulations

To join us, you should have:

  • Minimum two-year Associates Degree in Drafting Technology or related degree
  • Must have experience with REVIT, or extensive coursework at minimum
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems
  • Knowledge of standardized drafting practices and procedures
  • Strong communication and computer skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Willingness to travel
  • Willingness to work occasional overtime
  • A valid driver's license
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship

This position will report directly to the Mechanical Engineering Department Lead and will work as an integrated member of a multi-discipline, in-house team of engineers, architects, and designers/modelers.
