- Follow diagrams, engineering drawings, and manuals to assemble industrial equipment and machines
- Use hand tools, wrenches, gauges, and power tools
- Meet daily production goals
- Installs hydraulic and electrical components.
- Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, spaced clips, rivets, cotter pins or other fasteners using hand tools and portable power pneumatic tools (i.e. impact wrench).
- Positions and bolts engine block components to truck body using wrenches, hammer, and power hoist.
- Bolts subassemblies, power module, fan housing, set fan clearance to engine, using torque wrench and other hand tools.
- May operate drills, riveting machines or hydraulic crimping machine to assist in assembly operation.
- Identify and distribute parts to proper location.
- May run test of assemblies to verify proper assembly of unit.
- May operate forklift and crane/hoist.
- Required to accurately record work order information and inventory transactions.
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ years of experience in assembly of mechanical equipment or components
- 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with automotive or truck body assembly a plus!
- Able to provide own tools (socket set, wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.
- Able to operate a forklift and overhead crane
- Monday - Friday 6am - 2:30pm
