DuPont Safety Excellence Award for our safety performance We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanic to perform repairs and maintenance of fleet vehicles, at our York, PA facility. Our fleet includes pick-ups, job trucks, dozers, trenchers, excavators, backhoes, Aerial Buckets, Digger Derricks, Truck Cranes, directional drills, trailers, and other related construction equipment.

- Candidates must be willing to join the local Union.
- Routine maintenance & service, inspection, diagnostics and repair of fleet vehicles, trailers, off road, and aerial equipment to include but not limited to:- Drive train - Engine (Diesel, and gas) - Body - Chassis - Hydraulic - Brake (Air, hydraulic, and electric) - Electrical - Welding and Fabrication
- Daily documentation of related repairs.
- Operational verification of repairs.
- Must have at least 2 years experience working as a mechanic with at least 1 year experience repairing Construction Fleet equipment.
- Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
- Welding and fabrication experience is preferred.
- Experience repairing air brakes; certification is preferred but not required.
- Class A CDL license preferred, a clean safe driving record and ability to obtain a class A required.
- Provide trade hand tools.
- D.O.T. Safety Inspection experience preferred.
