What You Will Do:
As a Mechanic Apprentice you will have the opportunity to grow and develop technical skills under the guidance and mentorship of a qualified and experienced Maintenance Director. The Apprentice will be trained utilizing Revv’s Training Manual, directed by the FAA required hours, calendar time, and proficiency requirements currently in place for the Airframe and Powerplant Apprenticeship rules, to assist the team by performing maintenance, repairs, alterations and inspections on airframes and engines.
Additional Responsibilities:
The Apprentice will assist in some or all of the following:
Repair components approved under the repair station capability list
Operate all specialty or calibrated tools and equipment within your assigned area of responsibility while adhering to Revv’s policies and procedures
Record all work performed in accordance with methods established by the repair station
Properly handle and store all parts during the work process installation
Report all missing or inoperative tools and equipment to the Avionics Supervisor.
Maintain all shop equipment and vehicles in a working and fully functional order.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Mechanical aptitude
- Previous Aviation maintenance experience preferred
- Basic computer knowledge
