We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. As a Journeyperson Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings. Your expertise in plumbing techniques and knowledge of building codes will be essential to ensure the safety and functionality of plumbing systems.
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances
- Inspect plumbing systems and identify issues or potential problems
- Collaborate with construction teams to plan and install plumbing systems in new construction projects
- Respond to service calls and troubleshoot plumbing issues
- Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent future problems
- Adhere to safety protocols and building codes when working on plumbing projects
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Journeyperson Plumber
- Proficiency in various plumbing techniques, including soldering, welding, and brazing
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations related to plumbing systems
- Experience with heavy lifting and use of hand tools
- Familiarity with carpentry and basic math skills
- Previous experience in remodeling or field service is a plus
